The hallway is the first-impression spot of most houses. Welcome in! Homeowners want to keep this space nicely decorated and uncluttered if possible. But we need to keep our outdoor clothing there for different weather conditions, as well as our shoes, shopping bags, scarfs, gloves, umbrellas and the list goes on. Knowing that the hall usually has several doors and a staircase, there is little wall surface to use. On top of that the floor surface is long and narrow. Although most homeowners give priority to decorating their living rooms first, hallways deserve attention too! s Storage solutions Rather than using open shelving, coat and shoe racks, you may choose more attractive alternatives such as handy cabinets (a door insert with shelves), modular storage with suitable depth options (25 or 44 cm is available), or tall cabinets with separate doors for different sections to avoid large doors opening. Adding on to the construction of the house is always the best option. So if you have a niche which is at least 65 cm deep, you can create a coat rack with coat hangers and storage space above. Decorating A neutral colour scheme seems most suitable for the entrance as it is connecting rooms such as the living room, a toilet, a staircase and the utility meter cabinet. However such a colour scheme does not have to be boring. A long wall empty wall or all walls can be nicely dressed up with wallpaper. Even if you choose to keep the wood work in a white finish, fabulous wallpapers can be found that lift the look of your hallway and give pleasure every time you pass through. If a pattern is not your thing, consider a uni wallpaper. Any remaining walls can be painted in a matching wall paint, preferably a tone or two darker! Lighting If there is any interior item that benefits from exaggeration, it's your hallway's ceiling light. Splurge on its looks, size and sparkle! And for the long dark hours in wintertime make sure you have a small table lamp somewhere that is permanently switched on. There are more and more wireless models available e.g. the Flowerpot V9 from &tradition (see below). And finally the front door. The inside of the front door. This is often a forgotten element in the hall. Yet each time you leave the house, you want to leave with a good impression too! So a nice coat of paint or another material applied can make a big impact. Some colours/materials i n 3 i n t e r i e u r has used on the inside of front doors! You're welcome to contact i n 3 i n t e r i e u r for the design of your hallway!

When most people think of monochrome, they imagine stark black and white interiors with a tsunami of grey thrown in for good measure. However, monochrome is synonymous with 'ombre' and simply refers to a colour scheme that uses a base colour and shades, tints and hues of that colour to create a cohesive finish. Allemaal even mooi!
A great interior starts with the square meters of your room. A floor plan seems flat and boring, but it happens to be the starting point for a unique and beautiful design. Consider it as a new, clean canvas that's inviting you to create!
The number of m2's is never a reason to restrict your design wishes. There are numerous possibilities to design a small space that's attractive and practical at the same time. For more spacious houses the challenge may lie in the unused square meters, as in an L-shaped room, and how to integrate this area in the total design. Study your m2's and tackle your floor plan with a clear view. You will see new design options and you'll be able to re-invent your space with fresh ideas. Studying your floor plan is also the starting point for all i n 3 i n t e r i e u r ' s designs. We love to shift and plan your wishes and requirements until a nice layout emerges. Finding the best furniture layout and planning the functionality is our first priority so that all interior elements can be enjoyed to the maximum. The kitchen is no longer the tiled up sterile space we used to have. It is often connected to our living room and has become part of our living enjoyment. We love to have a new kitchen exactly to our liking. And we are willing to spend all our savings on it! But how do you make sure that you get the design that suits you?
Independent advice is the answer! Before you speak to kitchen firms or builders, work out the design as best as you can with the help of i n 3 i n t e r i e u r . We include all your wishes, functions, appliances and above all the atmosphere that you want! And at the same time avoiding useless drawers, awkward corner solutions, unattractively filling up elements that don't connect. The range of kitchen installations is enormous; there's something for everyone. The concept of built-in kitchens is also more often abandoned: some opt for a modular kitchen giving more freedom in the use of the space. Whilst protective and hard-wearing surfaces must be used in small sections of the kitchen walls and floor, the biggest part of your kitchen can be decorated in line with the rest of your house using attractive and nice materials. This is how you'll be able to create an inviting ambiance and and connect the kitchen to the décor of the rest of your home. Investing time, researching and designing before planning a visit to the kitchen builder, pays off. It brings you closer to your dream kitchen! There is a big choice of white paints on offer in the paint store. White paints can come with bluish, reddish, yellowish, and even greenish undertones. Which white suits you best? It can be a tricky affair. It depends on the type of paint, the surface underneath, the light in the room and the reflection power you want.
Carefully consider the situation in the rooms that you want to paint. Take some photos in daytime with sunlight and on a rainy day and in the evening. Study them closely and you will see that both artificial and natural light create different colour values. Then visit a professional paint store to see samples of white paint and ask to take some home to see the whites in your own surroundings. Also remember to include he influence of trees that shed their leaves in fall. Is an interior design a promise? Yes, in a way .......
We consider, we plan, we choose, we assemble and we create a design for the spaces of our house. And all this before we start implementing it; the installation has not even started. The interior you have in mind, keeps you busy all the time. Your dream is going to come true! The ideas, the colours, the shapes, the materials and the cost; your brain is working overtime! Furniture stores, hardware stores, home decor boutiques and their websites have a magnetic force on you. You want to fulfill that promise! i n 3 i n t e r i e u r 's core values are cooperation, independence and professionalism. All values to ease the steps and help fulfill your promise: take your chance and work with us. What are the current trends in interior design? It's the most asked question in the beginning of the year. In today's interior it's all about MOOD. What ambiance or mood would you like for your home?
Many homeowners talk about a certain style when referring to their preferred interior. Mediterranean, Industrial, Scandinavian and all the different styles names can be helpful to describe what you mean. What you really want to search for is the feeling you want your home to reflect and the pleasure such a mood will bring to you and your family. In words we can describe what we expect from our interior as far as mood is concerned: cozy, fresh, modern, light, maximalist, ........ We refer to color schemes and furniture styles and from what we have seen in magazines and on web sites. The question is, how to combine trends, paints and furniture pieces to create the mood that you are after? Start making plans for your home by sowing some seeds! Search for inspiration and check out manufacturer's websites. Most of them start the new year with updated products, new colors, new collection and fresh looks. Create your inspiration album online and see if your choices reflect the right mood! Trying to bring the right feel, ambiance or mood into the interior, is perhaps the most challenging part of interior design, but it's absolutely worth it! A new house is like a clean canvas; fresh and promising. Creating your home is like an artwork, it takes time and patience. The floors, walls and ceiling that guard you and cocoon your being, receive your attention and love and comfort will grow on you over time.
